Everyone wants to know how to live a better life. It’s a question that cuts across all social classes - from minimum wage employees to famous celebrities. They may not ask it all in the same way, but the underlying question is clear.

How does one live a better life? There’s no one answer for that. After all, there are so many factors to consider. First off, you have to define the meaning of a better life. Then, you have to determine the kind of person you are and the realities with which you are surrounded.

This article will not attempt to give you an end all-be all answer for your question. It will, however, give you a good idea of where to start.

Step 1: Lifestyle
For many people, learning how to live a better life means learning how to improve their lifestyle. If you feel like this is a good place to start, then I suggest you take a good, long look at yourself and assess your current habits.

Do you often gorge yourself with junk food? Do you like to smoke or drink? Do you have any health concerns? When was the last time you exercised? Answering all these questions truthfully will reveal which areas you need to improve on.

If eating right is your main concern, why don’t you make a list of what you ate for one whole week? See what kind of food is missing in your diet. Eat more fish, more fruits and more vegetables as a way to balance your meals.

Vices are a little harder to break away from. But if you’re really committed to improving your lifestyle, you will find the strength to inch away from them one step at a time.

Step 2: Financial
Learning how to live a better life also means knowing how to increase finances and have enough money to support your lifestyle. While you can’t just hold out your palm and pray for it to rain money, you can find other ways to earn more income.

If you have enough time on your hands, why don’t you get a part-time job? These days, there are a lot of “work-at-home” job opportunities available for just about anyone. Go online and scour the net for these job ads.

Or why don’t you review your career and check whether you’re due for a promotion? If you’re not, why don’t you work on that as your goal? Advancement in career is advancement in life.

Step 3: Spiritual
Learning how to live a better life is not all about the material things or the physical body. It’s also in the state of mind. You don’t have to be religious in order to have peace of mind. For example, take the time to thank the universe for giving you another opportunity to experience life. Take the time to do a good deed everyday. Love yourself and love others.

Learning how to live a better life is a very noble act. As you go on this journey, you’ll soon realize that there isn’t just one way to live a better life.

Attitude makes all the difference

"Attitude is everything, then I have advantage to choose one that is beneficial for me."

This makes perfect sense. Yet we are often given to meet people for whom the attitude do not have enough value in their eyes that they care for them - at least a little bit. In fact, many people who simply leave their attitude at random events, people and things - and experiencing all sorts of emotions more or less unpleasant, painful and often unnecessary.

What about you? Are you aware of your attitudes, thoughts that you maintain in your own mind?
As you awaken in the morning, what are the first two or three things you do or say?

Curse you that you must go to work? You complain about the weather outside? You grumble about your back pain or a headache? You yell after children so they get up and get ready?

You know, most of us think or say more or less the same thing every morning!

And if the first things you do or say in the morning should reflect the overall look of your day, what thoughts or words would you choose? Is your dialogue positive and cheerful? Or is it whiny and full of censure?

It is clear that if you're used too grumbling in the morning, complaining and moaning, very likely that you'll be putting up your day at same speed, unless you change your attitude during the day.

At the risk of surprising you, the last things you think or say the evening is also very important in regard to your happiness!

What are your last thoughts before falling asleep?
Are you worried about tomorrow?

Do you have positive, rich and beneficial thoughts for you or do you rather harboring negative, poor and disastrous thoughts?

Be well aware the mean of wealth or poverty, do not necessarily refer to money. It simply refers to a harmful way of thinking about any aspect of your life - or any area of your life not running freely.

It is probably wise to maintain the habit of reading or listening to a positive, healthy and beneficial message before going to bed. You should never watch the news before falling asleep. Be aware that throughout your sleep, your subconscious will continue to marinate the last thoughts that you have offered, then pay special attention not to give him only thoughts that are beneficial to you.

Similarly, it is particularly useful to deliver into the hands of your subconscious any questions or problems you may have, you'll be wonderfully surprised at the answers and solutions available to you during the next waking hours!

I greatly encourage you to give importance to choosing your attitude, either by first taking the healthy habit of observing your own thoughts - no matter what time of day. In other words, this is to think about what you do while you think.

If you find that you already have positive, healthy and beneficial thoughts, that is very good! Be thankful and continue on the same path!

However, should you find that your thoughts are negative, destructive and harmful to you, do not spend your precious energy to fight against them, but rather head for your attention on more positive thoughts for you.

Remember that you are responsible for your attitude, thoughts that you choose to keep in your mind. Have the wisdom to choose thoughts that are positive, healthy and beneficial for you.

The road of life is sometimes a little fuzzy!

What a beautiful way to express, for most people a constant feeling. There was a time during the last century (much of the century) where it was not hard to make its game plan to face life. For men it was simply to find a job in a big company to find a spouse who was pleasant in the same social class, have children and participate in some volunteer activities o finally arrive at retirement peacefully!

For women, it was to find a working spouse, with a sense of responsibility and family, having children, watching over them and ensure that children are always well dressed and are fed properly. In addition, women should make sure to keep the house clean, in order to ensure that the spouse is not obliged to participate in housework and childcare.

Obviously you sketch a little smile with this little syllabus on the planning of the life of the time because it was certainly not so simple.

Why is it so difficult today to find the path that we want to take in life?
The answer is very simple because the number of paths is incalculable. We have so many choices, so many opportunities that we are simply stunned by this whirlwind of choice.

Why make a choice?
During your life, most of you will not make a single choice, but several choices. Along the way, several events outside your control, will force you to make choices in spite of you will. In many cases you will have to make these choices without really being prepared, simply because most of the circumstances of life are unpredictable.

There is no recipe to make good choices, there is the experience, circumstances and luck. Life is never black or white, it is gray and shades vary daily. Do not look for perfection and do not be afraid to make mistakes. The worst mistake is to stand still and let things go. If you do this, all decisions will be taken by others and be assured that most of these decisions will not be in your favor.

Accept the fact that life is a blur standing
Do not be afraid of uncertainty, because everything is not 100% clear, do not forget that this gives us some leeway to change things during the journey. Indeed, we can do it the same way that we avoid the obstacles and we adapt our behavior on the road, we can do the same thing with our lives.

When rules are too rigid and plans too perfect it is failing to ignore the particularities of each human being, the situation surrounding, the new knowledge that change the order of things. The vagueness of the road of  life is what allows us to grow up, learning to cope with adversity in spite of ourselves and is what makes life so exciting.

Unfortunately there are always tragic events that can really affect your life very negatively, but will you stay hidden all your life trying to avoid the inevitable?

Feeling rejected - How to cope

Too often when we think we have been rejected or we're disappointed, we get discouraged and we say: "It was not for me. I think that I am not good enough for this position. When we hit these disappointments, it's normal to be a little shaken. We want to start over as soon as possible. We do not want to let our dreams die or become extinct.

We want to understand that in each event not running as we want, there's always a new opportunity or a new door to open. Our work and our mission is to discover this new door.

Often, our greatest opportunities emerge from our greatest disappointments. Sometimes it's comfortable. Often, we don't like the feeling, however, we can not make the mistake of sitting down and stay where we are.

In our biggest disappointments arise our greatest opportunities. Take for example a maple tree. If we are planting it in a jar, its growth will soon be very limited. Once the roots have filled the jar, maple tree can't grow anymore. The problem is not maple tree, but its environment.

The environment limits the growth of the tree. Perhaps we have greater things to accomplish than our environment can bear. When we pass through difficult times, it's not necessarily because we are in error. Sometimes this is how we've been guide or show the next step. Sometimes it's the little push we need to go forward.

Let's use this example to apply and understand the stages of healing. The feeling of rejection or disappointment is the first step. That's when we realize the pain or disappointment associated with the disconnection. If we do not accept this reality, if we avoid it, if we blame others, ourselves and the circumstances, we will have difficulty to face it.

When we begin to suffer, immediately we rise and we begin to look for people or events that could help us. We are the second stage. We try to identify quickly: "Who is that person who can help me." Help always comes from outside and new learning. Similarly, we reject the blame on external events or others.

Then comes the realization that this is not the others or the circumstances that created the problem. Everything becomes clear. We who are responsible for what happens to us. How come I always find myself in circumstances or with similar people? This frustration and the feeling of being caught and turned in circles. It's like being stuck in the snow. The wheels are turning, but the car does not advance.

At this stage, when we recognize that we put ourselves in these situations, we can regain our power to take action and change things from within.

Finally, the last step is to take action. This last step is undoubtedly the most difficult and one that will take longer to achieve. To be frank, this is also the most difficult step to achieve, but the positive impact on your life will be unprecedented.

If you live in a situation where you feel constantly rejected daring escape from this environment that does not match your dreams and your aspirations.

Listening

When I ask you to listen and you start giving me advice, you have not done what I asked.


When I ask you to listen and you start to tell me why I should not feel that way, you trampled my feelings.

When I ask you to listen and you feel you must do something to solve my problem, you do not help me, as strange as it may seem.

Listen, is all I ask you to do.

I don't want you to tlak or to do something I ask you only to listen.

Advice is cheap, I have the same in a newspaper in section of heart and my horoscope.

I want to act by myself, I am not helpless, maybe a little discouraged and faltering but not helpless.

When you do something for me that I can do by myself, you contribute to my fear, you accentuated my disability.

But when you accept as a simple fact that I feel what I feel (regardless of rationality) I can convince you to stop and I can try to begin to understand what lies behind these irrational feelings.

When it is clear, the answers are obvious, I do not need advice.

Irrational feelings make sense when we understand what is behind.

Perhaps this is why prayer works sometimes for some people, because the divine is quiet.
  • He or she does not give advice
  • He or she does not try to fix things
  • They just listen and let you solve the problem yourself.

So please, listen and hear me.

And if you want to talk, wait just a minute and I'll listen.

So far, as they will prove able to identify their mistakes, show courage and speak to lean on with confidence to try to understand, the youth will be able to use it and to learn something from it. Mistake, as everyone knows is a source of learning. Remember that you must try to learn.

How to create opportunities in life?

It is well known that we must be open to seek opportunities that may come to us. But the emphasis is often placed on the fact that we can create our own opportunities. Here are some helpful tips.


To understand how opportunities work, it is first necessary to know that life is about choice: the life will always be the sum of the choices you made from birth to your death.

These choices can be considered as opportunities. Every day, you have the opportunity to improve your life or make it even worse. One of the most important things regarding opportunities is they are often disguised as a bad event.

For example, you are not hired by the company you want because of lack of experience. Consider this as an opportunity as a temporary work and you will at least make contacts and gain experience.

If you want to create opportunities in your life, you must open your social circle. Find an activity you like, there are many chances that a group of people share the same interest. If you have no interest in any specific topic, try something new and do not worry about the details: it is likely that your social circle enlarges as well.

Keep an open approach to things, if you are in situations that you consider to be unlucky, eliminate the bad things and see what you can draw well for the future.

Seizing the opportunity is an art that must be develop. Good opportunities leads through concrete and targeted actions. Do not wait until the opportunity presents by itself,, but you must go through the opportunity. Of course, this does not work every time, but the success rate is much higher!

The power of a smile

It is primarily from your appearance that people generally forges the opinion of others and not their words. For example, a sincere smile will spontaneous delight your interlocutor which will interpret as wanting to say "I am happy to see you, what a pleasure to meet you, your presence makes me happy."

A sincere smile always attracts sympathy
But beware! An artificial smile does not fool anyone, it often causes the opposite effect and irritation. Do not underestimate the power of your smile.

A rewarding exercise
Take the following: For one week, at all times, smile around you and you'll be surprised at the results or reactions that you will cause by adopting this new attitude. The smile as laughter produce a friendly complicity.

A method for smile
To raise on your lips a sincere smile you must first adopt a positive attitude, fed by your happiness. You may not feel like smiling? Your morale is down? You're not gay? The following method will allow you to remedy the situation.

If you are alone, hum, whistle or sing, act as if you were really happy. Your attitude will help make you happy. To find joy, adopt the behavior that provokes you when it is in you. Do this by remembering times when you were happy and joyful.

The lack of energy does not depend on external conditions or the other but only to your mental attitude.

Our satisfactions come not from what we have or what we do, but what we think. THE POWER OF YOUR MIND is infinitely more powerful than you think, do not neglect. Your thoughts, in fact, can either create in you a state of happiness. To your success it does only one thing: WANT.

Learn how to condition your mind so that they in turn influence positively your behavior and your mood. Repeat to yourself several times out loud, the evening before going to sleep, short sentences like "I am positive at all times, nothing can affect me, I'm always in good mood, I'm happy to be what I am ", etc. Be intense with yourself, imagine the circumstances that put you in good mood with each sentence.

NEVER use the conditional tense in your sentences, so do not say "I would be strong", but "I am strong", the conditional is the source of doubt.

Remember these 3 important principles:
  • A smile costs nothing but brings a lot
  • A smile enriches those who receive it without taking anything away from who gives it
  • A smile is a sign of friendship

Take action or wait

Whatever what come up in life, we always have the opportunities to act or wait. We always choose to fight, to succeed in realizing our dreams, goals or to let others run our lives and our destiny.

Why is it so difficult to act for our own good?
Often it is through lack of energy, lack of mental energy, lack of belief and because the doubt to missed shot is larger than the certainty of success. It is a sad statement, but unfortunately the sad reality for too many people.

Life seems littered with misfortune, because we perceive challenges as misfortunes. Few of us have received an education that we do see misfortunes as normal situations, as personal growth steps, as essential events for learning to trust ourselves and not let others and events direct our life.

As life is absolutely not fair, it is quite useless to compare to anyone on this earth, and on the occasions that you get to live a happy and peacefull life. You have your life and you must appreciate the fact that you still have opportunities to change what you dislike about your life. This is not always easy, I grant you, but it's almost always possible to do better, to put energy in it and believe in yourself, even in the most desperate situations.

How to act in all circumstances?
Nothing easier, drop your ego and get help immediately. Look for people, organizations and information to help you sort out your situation.

You think this explanation is simplistic! I can guarantee you one thing, from the moment you decide to really solve your difficult situation, regardless of the situation and that you will employ competent people, your chances of finding solutions will be increased tenfold.

As you are no longer alone in your world, the burden of your situation will diminish considerably. Therefore, you'll be less stressed and you will find a great deal of energy. Never forget the pain and anxiety (stress) are the two things that reduce your energy.

The impact of waiting
It is not difficult to understand if you let things settle itself, there is little chance of seeing the problem solve by itself. The more you ignore a situation, the worse the consequences will be not to try to resolve them.

Most situations that you will face in your life are not extreme tragedies like those that people have to live facing events that destroy everything they have and kill their relatives.

If you decide to wait before you turn on to solve your difficult situations, you may put yourself in situations that have consequences for several years, consequences still more difficult to resolve and sometimes irreversible ones.

Be your own savior
Do not wait until someone discovers that you are in a difficult situation and be your own savior. Be the person who takes things in hand and put in place a team of specialists, a trusted team to resolve the situation.

You understand what I mean, approach the situation as a project, an adventure in which you have a triggering role that allows your team to help you find the most effective way to overcome your situation positively while having learned that life is less complicated with a team.

Believe in yourself, an attitude to built

Who better than you can know how you feel? Who better than you can know what you like?

But you will always find people who will tell you what you need to do of your life or even claiming to help to guide you in your search for what is good for you. Remember that it is your responsibility to know you to affirm and believe in yourself.

How to believe in yourself and assert yourself?
If you've get used to do what people ask you without opposition, even if it annoys you, it may be difficult to reverse this trend, however, it is not impossible.

The first thing to do to believe in yourself is to find what motivates you to seek the approval of others. Indeed, often behind the urge to satisfy everyone hides to the need to be loved and the fear of disappointing, and to be rejected.

To successfully break away from these influences, you have to trust you. That is to say to learn to pay as much attention that you feel as those of others. You must find the rationale and meaning of your actions. That does not mean it should be close to others, but you need to know to distinguish between what you feel and what others feels around you.

Often, our environment has a tendency to project onto us their own fears and thus to limit ourselves. But to advance, you may make different choices than those who were done before. So this is your first step to know why you are seeking approval of others and recognize the value of your jugement.

Gradually, as you gain confidence in you, you will learn at your pace. Be aware that this step takes time, so it is important that you exercise patience and indulgence on yourself.

Believing in yourself must be learned, but you must be realistic, if you have learned for years to hide what you feel and take on you, it may also be some time to reverse this behavior. However, the essential thing is not the time you put that to achieve this objective, the key is to get what you want, and this could matter how long it will take.

Passion and its effects

Let us take a look at passion other than the passion of love. Talking about the passion of being, a passion for life, the passion to do what inspires you the most.

We must recognize that every human being has in him a passion by which he may live. Passion is this breath of happiness, well being felt by ignoring any obligation to work for a living. You can do the work that you are passionate about and I would say that it is what we should all try to do.

Very often you make your survival at the expense of what drives you to meet the needs of your loved ones are act in the sense of duty. The sense of duty is too often the opposition of passion. The passion is to live what you are.

Passion does not refer to desires that you create or that you borrow by the influence of current society. The passion surpasses the dream. The passion comes from your gut, not your thoughts or your mind, much less any brainwash that you have suffered. Passion does not feed the emotions, it is the source of what you are. So you must give yourself the right to recognize your passion.

To recognize it, you will have to find it and you are absolutely right. The most surprising is that your passion has already manifested in your life and more than once. The events of your passion materialize at least: in childhood, adolescence and in the middle of your life.

Too often, your living environment has killed your passion. Too often you were told to stop dreaming. It is safer, more secure, to remain in the ranks of dissenters, the knowing environment. You have been brought to your responsibilities, like survival and ensure your presence at the expense of fulfilling your passion. You can make your passion while ensuring your survival and your responsibilities.

There are many people who make their living from their passion or who have guided their careers, their work around their passion. These people are usually happy, healthy and in harmony with themselves and with their environment. By cons, an even greater number of people repress their passion or operate outside of their work to the detriment of their environment by creating a delicate balance of life. Besides the fact that to achieve your passion outside of work takes time and inevitably the lack of time hit hard on your personal life and usually causes an emotional distance with people near you.

Why do you see so many career changes or shift work half-time of life?
Why so many separations in love or friendship or work at stage 40 and older? You will say that this is merely a question of positioning. Yes, true, but go to the bottom of the matter. Questioning on what? What you live, what has not spoken to you yet or a less favorable environment where it is difficult to carry you. Do we speak here not just your passion, your enthusiasm to be back in that area?

You always have the choice and you'll always be alone in deciding to recognize your passion and express it. Finding your passion is to return as an individual. It's not for nothing that very often the final manifestation of your passion occurs between 40 and 50 years. You can choose to respond, but know that deny or refuse to give life cause effects on your wellbeing, your health and quality of life with your family. Why so many "burn-out, depression, mental fatigue in individuals aged 40 and over? Dare to consider the answer will look upon you, which is in you, your passion.

Living his passion does not necessarily mean to question back your relationships with people and your workplace. Recognizing his passion will only require you to restore your frames of reference, to give you the means to express it. Recognize, identify and express his passion will require a commitment to yourself and walk into the unknown for some time.

You have your own passion. Go back to your childhood, your adolescence and remind yourself what your passion was, what inspires you, what made you lose track of time, which allowed you to feel that you exist beyond the shape.

Logotherapy - An interesting approach

Viktor Frankl developed an approach to psychotherapy that he called the "logotherapy." (Logos in Greek means meaning.) In this approach, responsibility is regarded as the essence of human existence.

In logotherapy, the therapist tries to assert his patient what their responsibilities are. He has to choose what he wants to be responsible, to what or to whom. Therefore, the therapist speech is less likely that the traditional therapist to impose his values to his patients because he does not take responsibility for them.

A good way to set the mood "logotherapy" is to live as if this was the second time they were preparing to make the same mistakes. "Imagine that this is the past, and you have the power to change the past," Frankl offers. We are thus confronted with the limited nature of life and the finality of what made life and ourselves.

According to logotherapy, we can discover the meaning of his life in three ways.

First: through a work or a good deed.

Secondly, by experiencing something or someone. This may be the experience of goodness, truth, beauty, such as contact with nature or with a certain culture or what is even better to know the uniqueness of a human being through love.

The third way to find meaning in life lies in the attitude to take to unavoidable suffering. Placed in a desperate situation, it remains to the human freedom to choose what attitude to take to die with dignity, bear their suffering. "When you can not change a situation, an incurable cancer, for example, you have no choice but to transform.

"Suffering is not necessary to find meaning in his life. But we can find meaning even through suffering, if it is unavoidable. If it is not, however, you should eliminate the cause, whether psychological, biological or political. Agree to suffer unnecessarily is masochistic rather than heroism. But to accept suffering with courage to keep his life its meaning until the last moment it's your decision.

Calendar
"I am never tire of repeating that the only transitory aspects of life are those who are potential state, Viktor Frankl wrote. Updated, they become reality and they are preserved in the past where they are preserved forever. "

Frankl tells the metaphor of the calendar.
The pessimist is the person who sees with sadness his schedule shrink day by day. For cons, the person who brings enthusiasm to life's problems looks like the man who carefully preserves the pages of his calendar after scribbled a few notes on the back. He can look with pride and joy on all the wealth contained in these pages.

What does he grow old? Why regret his youth? He is fully aware of its rich past, which includes not only the reality of work and his loves, but also his sufferings bravely faced. It's still of his suffering that he is the most proud of, even if they can not inspire envy.

What is - Letting go?

We've all heard the expression "letting go" and often this approach is presented as "THE" solution to our woes as a specific situation. But what exactly is the process of letting go?

This process of letting go can not be an action from outside, because it is an internal process. It's up to us to pre-disposed ourself to letting go and this position is not primarily mental and even less the result of a time of internal analysis.

In fact, letting go is not a drop to an event, circumstance or person, otherwise it would be an outside process. It is not a surrender to internal pain and fear. This suffering is a trigger of internal discomfort following an internal perception of a situation that, during or following a misalignment of ourself. You may feel that they are events or outsiders who create this kind of inner pain, but this is not the case.

It is too easy to play the victim in dismissing the case on the outside world. This reaction to the appearance of an inner pain will only worsen the situation at some point. Life always brings us back to situations which we have not settled and that, as long as we do not exercise to letting go process to the buried pain.

It is easy to say and to act mentally to a form of letting go while trying to forget the event or minimize the consequences not always external to us, but within ourself. The process of letting go is based on an internal process, so on our experienced and felling. This process is not natural, because we have been educated to let time do its work, putting away unwanted people without ever knowing what is undesirable in us.

We fight, therefore more with our internal resistance. Our resistance to abandon what has been taught as true, as your thoughts. Letting go works well on our resistance to abandon what we know is that the events and people outside us.

It's hard to apply this process on our resistance and our suffering. Those suffering are so great, sometimes, it will create an impact on our bodies or our mental health. Our refusal not to see the outside, but most to look at us. This behavior will maintain our  unpleasant and even unbearable feeling.

It's almost when we reached the end of our resources, both physical and mental demands that we begin to look at internal options. This can be achieved only when we are willing to accept this suffering as ours. At this moment we dare look at what this suffering will reveal. This acceptance can only come from ourselves and only then we can begin the process of letting go.

Letting go is exactly and above all a process beginning with the acceptance of a undesirable and uncomfortable situations. Acceptance, there will thereafter awareness of our resistance. What we resist so much and that makes us so badly.

In opening onto ourself by agreeing to observe and watch what we resist so that we can act on the evil and turn it into a well-being. This evil, this suffering is in our lives to talk to us, to recognize a misalignment of ourself, then everything follows from the action of granting a space and a time to look and listen without saying.

We can live a full and true self-realization without going through the process of letting go of old conditioned resistance that we have never been ours.

How to develop a sense of urgency

There are life situations that require quick responses and results to avoid living through difficult times with negative consequences. Generally, it is not difficult to have a sense of urgency to act, or rather to react and try to avoid the worst. Despite the fact that these situations do not occur, at least, should not occur too often in life, you must still take action and be quick to resolve these unpleasant situations of your life.

How do you act when you are not ine crises mode? Are you among those who have the habit of putting off what you could undertake right away? If so, you're among the majority of people on this planet.

It should be understood that I mean mainly of projetcs life, projects that are buried deep within your heart. I do not speak daily tasks, still I imagine that if you make procrastination in your normal life, it is not difficult to understand why you do the same thing with larger projects .

Far from me the idea to criticize anyone for such behavior. The reasons are too numerous, to rationally to explain this behavior and in many cases there are good reasons to do so.

The idea here is to discover how to succeed in creating a sense of urgency to get you out of torpor, fear, inertia blocking the realization of your projects. There is no recipe, there are only triggers feelings, emotions motivating to help you start the engine of concrete action.

What I consider the most important thing in this approach is to accept the fact that the success of your projects will be the result of several factors, many of these factors are not under your control. This simply means that luck is definitely part of the equation for success, but when you go into action and you persevere, the odds of being lucky increased considerably.

Why dare to try if my chances of success are minimal?
First and foremost because you still have a chance to succeed and also because what you discover along the way will be invaluable for the rest of your life. If you are looking a bit in your memory, you will find that most things you learned were when you were doing projects, activities in which you had to engage seriously.

I am convinced that in many cases, you had always a sense of urgency in one form or another and that even if you did not achieved the desired goal, you have accumulated knowledge and expertise that have been useful and practical for the rest of your life.

The main reason why you dare, is that by making plans you learn, you evolve and you truly enjoys life.

Create a sense of urgency is driving the action, if you do not set a goal with dates, it is unlikely that you will create that sense of urgency essential to motivate you to act and put the energy behind it, you would at least give you a chance to achieved some parts of your project.

Once you start the engine by creating your sense of urgency, you must stick emotion to your project so that the engine continued to run, let you advance and keep you alive, that is to say keep on action.

Allow yourself to grow

Human beeing can not stagnate, to stand still or to be content with he had. It needs some internal development, growth, evolution and it's by accepting this fact of life that you will walk to the financial success and well-being.

Anything that does not grow eventually die
Stagnation, routine or complacency are a disguised regression. This state of stagnation does not exist in nature, any more than humans. Everything is moving, everything is increasing or decreasing, it can not remain the same.

Often, people seek a life that any difficulties would be absent and where they would be "quiet" until the end of their life, but this state does not exist. When a plant stops growing, it begins to slowly die.

When you stop to evolve in your work and in your business, things begin to deteriorate. It's almost imperceptible at first, but as surely as when the body has finished growing, it begins to age.

When your relationship do not grow anymore, where every day your loving level does not grow, the routine is being established, the habit is created, the loss of desire or surprises begins and the relationship will stop progress to finally start decreasing.

Anything that will not progress will go backward. It can not be otherwise, is a law of nature, a law of life
To counter this, you must keep in you the desire to move forward, to always want more, be inquisitive and to expect the best. Always expect the best, have all your senses wake up.

Always be ready
Always be ready to embrace change, new ideas. Be ready to receive the gift of life, always be ready to host events of whatever kind and prepare yourself in your inner feeling to be like you want it to feel tomorrow.

Happiness is in the journey
As always, wanting more does not mean being satisfied with anything. Some people tend to say they will happy or satisfied when a particular event or result will be reached and they stayed frustrated or unhappy in the meantime.

Of course, when this happens they waited, they rush to redefine another thing to be achieved, giving them an opportunity to talk again and again that inner evil is still there.

You may want more while being happy with what you've done. It is not necessary to be dissatisfied to want more, you can also enjoy each moment that you live by living fully and with the desire to live other again and again.

How happpiness happens ?

But how does an adult achieve a high level of contentment while living a frenetic and distraction-packed life?
There is an incredibly high correlation between people's happiness and meaning at work and at home. In other words, those who experience happiness and meaning at work tend also to experience them outside of work. Those who are miserable on the job are usually miserable at home.

The implication is unmistakable. Since work and home are very different environments, our experience of happiness and meaning in life appears to have more to do with who we are than where we are. Rather than blaming our jobs, our managers and our customers or our friends, family members, and communities for our negative worklife experience, we might be better served by looking in the mirror.

One commonly expressed excuse for not getting more happiness and meaning out of life is: "I'm working too many hours." But our results show that the number of hours worked had no significant correlation with happiness or meaning experienced at work or at home. So much for that excuse.

The correlations between happiness, meaning, and overall satisfaction at work and home were very similar. Those who were more satisfied with life outside of work are the one spending more time on activities that produced both happiness and meaning.

These links between how we spend our time and how we feel may seem confusing, but specific patterns arose some commonsensical, some not. Here are a few quick takeaways:
  • Reduce TV watching. It's stimulating but doesn't increase overall satisfaction with life at work or home.
  • Cut back on surfing the Web for non-professional reasons. It's negatively correlated with the experience of both happiness and meaning.
  • Do as few chores as you can (whatever that word means to you).
  • Spend time exercising and with people you love (people doing this had more satisfaction with life at work and at home).
  • Feeling challenged is linked to greater satisfaction, so challenge yourself.

How to use creativity to get rid of your limitation thought

Take a moment to consider the creativity, not as something outside yourself, but as something that you already have in you forever.

Imagine the creativity as an energy that is trapped in a corner of your mind and imagine that you have to open a number of doors to reach this energy and let it out freely in your life.

Of course, this is a metaphor, but merely to imagine is not the first step towards developing your creativity?
By becoming aware of your limiting patterns, you make it lose all power over you.

Go beyond your possible limits
The only limits to your ability to invent, your ability to create is what you believe you can do.

If something seems impossible today, you can not achieve unless you change your state of mind.

If you think you could not find the solution to a problem, you will not find it.
You could not reach what you believe impossible.

Do you think you will be able to have an idea that you will make you richer?
If the answer is no, how do you think you will succeed?

By setting limits to what you believe possible, you set boundaries that stop you to succeed.

When you do not believe in your ability to get something specific, you condition yourself to fail, you set your limits and you do not try to go beyond.

Go past the doubts
People believe that by obtaining new results you may overcome your doubts. But things did not go that way.

If you are planning to succeed, you must overcome your doubts, you should forget and pretend that what you want is possible.

Act as if it were possible
When you doubt, you create a blockage in you, you close your opportunities, you send instructions to your subconscious telling it to stop you from succeeding in doing this or that.

You only see what you think
One of the characteristics of your brain is to sort through your perceptions and make you perceive what goes in the direction of what you think.

If you believe that people are selfish, you only see people selfish if you think it is impossible to succeed in life, you will act to get going in this direction.

Life is so precious

In this new year, it is good to take a short break and think about what is really important for you. This life is so short, so precious that you must learn to use each of these moments and try to enjoy it with pleasure and satisfaction.


Not easy to apply a philosophy of life as "zen" as this one, in such a social environment we're living in. Whatever country you are, life is demanding and you must learn to take responsibility no matter what.

Therefore you must learn to truly think constructively, you must learn to focus your positive feelings that your behavior is instinctively oriented toward objectives that provide solutions and concrete actions.

The precious moments that life give us should not be used to denigrate others and break sugar on the backs of others without ever participate in solving the problem. The practical interventions you do in our lives, have a direct impact on your sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that you have of yourselves.

You must choose what you do with your time, take the time to live your life to appreciate this short life which is so precious and so special. Sometimes choices are difficult, if not limited, but most cases you still have choices that can bring you much joy and satisfaction. Just take the time to do things and to do it for good reasons.
The year ahead will undoubtedly be high in change and surprise in all areas of life in our society. Countless events arise during the year and some of these events will have a direct impact on your lives. The world of today is very inter-connected from one end to another of the planet. You can not remain insensitive to other nations. This is why life requires calm, demeanor and positive thinking to make more informed decisions that will allow you to better enjoy life while acting in accordance with respect for others and our planet .
